Ok! Day one! Cutting out sugar b/c several sights I have read says that sugar affects the same part of ur brain that heroine and cocaine affect! It gives u the same feelings of pleasure! That's powerful!
So no more sweet tea :( ! And I have had several ppl reach out with the same problem and offer resources and support! It's going to be a long journey but if I can say focused and execute a plan I can do this! And obviously in the Word and prayer everyday! Nothing but water from here on out!
This is cake compared to what Jesus went thru for me!

Way to go Carrie! I know it sounds crazy but if you control your breathing it will help a lot. When you feel hungry drink a full glass of water then wait 20 min or so. When you feel emotional about food take 10-20ty deep breaths. 5 sec inhale until your lungs are completely full and can't hold anymore air - hold for 5 sec then 3sec exhale. Martial arts have known for years to control your state of mind you is to control your breath. When you start the deep breathing you body will release chemicals into your body relaxing and satisfying emotions.
